CfP. Pnyx. Journal of Classical Studies

Questa la lettera con cui gli Editori invitano gli studiosi a collaborare alla nuova Rivista Pnyx, dedicata agli Studi Classici.

Dear colleagues,

We hope this message finds you well. We kindly draw your attention to the inaugural issue of Pnyx, a digital, free-for-all, double-blind peer-reviewed, Open Access journal of Classical Studies (broadly defined). It is a scholarly-led initiative that offers free, full Open Access license and free language editing services to authors who want to publish their research in English. We accept publications on a rolling basis, so we warmly welcome you to submit your paper to Pnyx and look forward to working with you. Please feel free to get in touch and learn more about the journal and the publishing house.

We take pride in our international, growing Advisory Board, currently comprising 27 colleagues from 18 countries who cover most aspects of the Classical World and whose numbers are tilted in favour of women as a long-standing commitment. We share a positive attitude, the willingness to help others, and the vision to make Classical Studies more inclusive and fairer for all. We regard reviewers as integral contributors to research papers and cooperate with colleagues from across the world to include as many research backgrounds as possible. If you would like to become a reviewer, please get in touch or simply register on our website as a reviewer.

The journal and the publishing house, Isegoria Publishing, are committed to the free, unrestricted dissemination of knowledge produced around the world. Our purpose is to support scholars worldwide and build bridges for collaboration and communication to facilitate progress. We are happy to publish monographs, conference proceedings, and PhD theses either in English or in the authors’ preferred language. If this is of interest, please get in touch, and we are happy to discuss more.

You can view and download the first issue of Pnyx (www.pnyx.co.uk) and learn more about the vision and scope of our publishing house, Isegoria Publications, here: www.isegoriapublishing.co.uk. You can find, contact, and connect with the editors and the publishing house on Facebook, Academia, and Linkedin.

Take care at all times, stay positive whenever possible, and please get in touch.

The editors,

Manolis Pagkalos (Groningen)

Stefanos Apostolou (Nottingham)
